Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to PetPlus! By accessing or using the PetPlus mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PetPlus. Please read them carefully.

Description of Service

PetPlus is a pet health management application that helps you:

• Store and manage information about your pets
• Track appointments and medical records
• Receive reminders for upcoming vet visits
• Communicate with your veterinary clinic
• Store pet photos and notes

The App is designed to complement, not replace, professional veterinary care. Some features may display demonstration data for upcoming integrations with veterinary systems.

Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: PetPlus is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary care.

The App is designed to help you organize pet information and communicate with your veterinarian. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns
• Do not delay seeking veterinary care based on information in the App
• In case of emergency, contact your veterinarian or emergency vet clinic immediately
• The App does not replace regular veterinary check-ups

PetPlus and its creators are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from use or misuse of the App. Your veterinarian is the only qualified professional to provide medical advice for your pets.

User Accounts

PetPlus signs you in automatically using an anonymous account — no email, password, or sign-up is required in this version.

Because your data is stored on your device, you are responsible for:
• The security of your device
• Any data you enter into the App
• Keeping your own backups of important information

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the Service for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.

User Responsibilities

When using PetPlus, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your pets
• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not share your account with others
• Not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the App
• Not upload harmful content, viruses, or malicious code
• Not use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of pet information you enter. While we strive to help you manage pet data, we are not responsible for data entry errors or omissions.

Intellectual Property

The PetPlus App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by PetPlus and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:
• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Use the PetPlus name, logo, or branding without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

Your Content: You retain ownership of photos and information you upload to the App. By uploading content, you grant PetPlus a license to store and display it for the purpose of providing the service. You can delete your content at any time.

Demo Mode and Integrations

PetPlus may display demonstration data in certain areas of the App to showcase upcoming features:

• Medical Records: May show sample veterinary data to demonstrate integration with Ezyvet or similar systems
• Store Products: May show sample products to demonstrate future e-commerce integration

Demo data is clearly marked and does NOT represent actual information about your pets. Features marked as "coming soon" or shown in demo mode may not be currently available.

We make no guarantee about the availability or timeline for future integrations with third-party veterinary or e-commerce systems.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Compatibility with your device

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PETPLUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Veterinary costs or pet health outcomes
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the App

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it and delete your account.

Data Accuracy and Backup

While PetPlus uses industry-standard practices to protect your data:

• We cannot guarantee data will never be lost or corrupted
• You are responsible for maintaining backup copies of important information
• Data stored locally on your device may be lost if your device is damaged or reset
• We recommend keeping external records of critical pet health information

PetPlus is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app bugs, or user error.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by:
• Using the "Delete Account" feature in Settings > Privacy & Data
• Contacting us at [email protected]

We may suspend or terminate your account if:
• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Required by law or legal process
• The App is discontinued

Upon termination:
• Your access to the App will be revoked
• Your account data will be deleted (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon:
• Posting the updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Notifying you via email or in-app notification (for material changes)

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Binding arbitration (if negotiation fails)

You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

Indemnification

• Information you provide or upload to the App

This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PetPlus regarding use of the App. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
